Prosono adds executive leader, announces leadership for its practices

DENVER, CO Prosono, a Denver-based firm focused on business and social impact, today announced Tameka Brigham, Ed.D as Principal of Vantage Evaluation, David Thurow as Principal of Strategy & Operations, and Julie Seltz as Principal of Product Development.

Dr. Brigham, a well-recognized community leader, joins Prosono with over 20 years of education & executive experience. Drawing on her expertise in evaluation, community development, performance management, and public service, Dr. Brigham will work with clients to design and execute external evaluations designed to improve programs' impact, efficacy and equity. “Tameka is a dynamic leader committed to creating change by using evaluation as a tool for improvement and society betterment,” remarks Jesus Salazar, CEO of Prosono. “What Tameka learned in her public service in leading change and creating change will bring value and perspective to our firm and our clients.”

Previously, Dr. Brigham served as the Executive Director of Student Success for Aurora Public Schools and Chief of Staff and Chief of Family and Community Engagement for Denver Public Schools. In both roles she transformed how the two districts took input and put it into action for students, parents and staff members and shifted how large administrative systems evaluate and create dynamic programming with equitable and measurable gains for constituents. In the community, she serves as a powerful conduit between community-based organizations, foundations and systems, bringing greater coherence, access and synergy between the entities.

Dr. Brigham received her Doctor of Education focused on Instructional Leadership for Adult Learners specializing in qualitative research from Argosy University in 2016. She completed her Master of Arts in Education focused on Literacy and Multiple Intelligence Theory from Lesley University in 2003 and her Bachelor of Arts degree in1999 in Sociology and African American Studies from the Metropolitan State University of Denver.

Dr. Brigham believes in the power of evaluation and the efficacy it provides clients; she has utilized it in her own previous leadership experiences and is eager to impact how equity in evaluation produces greater outcomes for our clientele. She is excited to lead Vantage and continue the transformative work of Prosono.
